COVID 19 – Information for families

At Hope Family Funerals our promise has never changed -
“Our family, helping your family”

At Hope Family Funerals we want to reassure you and your whanau that we are following the systems put in place by
New Zealand medical and health authorities. We not only help and care for families through the expected difficult times, but we also care for the health and safety of our families during the uncertainty of Covid times.
We would like to take the time to share with you the strategies we have implemented to keep both yourselves and our staff as safe as possible.
We ask that you inform us if you have any concerns or suspect that your deceased loved one or a family member has either been in contact with someone infected with Covid-19 or suspect that they may be infected themselves.

Tauranga is currently under the Orange parameter of the protection framework. How does this affect you and what can you expect from us?

When visiting the Hope Family Funeral Home

My Vaccine Pass scan in
Every person (unless you have an exemption) who visits either the Hope Family Funeral Home in Pyes Pa or Charlemagne Office & Service Venue in Te Puna must present a vaccine pass on arrival. We will be verifying QR codes through our scanning system.
If you are unable to provide a vaccine pass please discuss this with one of our staff before your arrival so that alternative arrangements can be made to ensure everybody’s continued wellbeing and safety.

QR code location scan in

Families are still asked to scan in for record keeping of attendance.

Attendance at appointments
At appointments to make funeral arrangements we are requesting only six family members
or support people be present.
Please wear a mask (unless you have an exemption), it’s a small simple way that we can help to protect each other.

The area used for appointments will be cleaned between visitors.
Viewing of Loved Ones
We request a maximum of six family/whanau per visit.
